반갑습니다.
오랜만에 한글 멘트를 쓰게되네요.
보통 Symphony / Gothic Metal 장르를 떠올리라고하면,
Evanescence 나 Nightwish 를 떠올리기 마련입니다.
그러나 Within Temptation 도 결코 인지도가 낮은 상대가 아닙니다.
국내에서나 인지도가 낮을 뿐이지 저 두 밴드와 나란히 걸치고 있는,
아니 보다 더욱 강한 괴물이라고도 말할 수 있는 엄청난 인기를 가지고 있는 밴드이기 때문이지요.
수상 경력만 따진다고 하여도 저 둘에 비해 월등히 많은 입상 내역을 가지고 있으니 말 다했지요.
앞서 일컫었던 두 밴드의 음악적 비중을 비교해볼때
Nightwish 는 Symphony 에 좀 더 큰 비중을,
Evanescence 는 Gothic Rock/Metal 에 좀 더 큰 비중을 두고 있다고 볼 수 있는데요,
Within Temptation 은 그 둘의 중간정도 비율이라고 설명드릴 수 있을 것 같습니다.
지금 소개하는 곡은 이 밴드의 곡들 중에서도 다소 하드한 곡으로 볼 수 있지만
압도되는 첫인상이나 매력 등 여러적인 면에서 볼때
아무래도 깊은 관심을 끌 수 있는 곡이라 생각되어 이렇게 선정하였습니다.
곡을 만드시면서 크나 큰 영감을 얻으실 수 있기를 바랍니다.
이와 같은 장르의 곡은 이제껏 뮤쉐에서 제대로 시도된 적이 없었는데,
한번 쯤 시도해 볼만한 좋은 장르라 생각됩니다.
